The international School Of Forensics Online Training (SOFOT) organisation is the sole authorized provider of training for the entire Xtreme Forensics suite of tools. Ongoing product support (over and above general email correspondence) for Xtreme Forensic products will only be provided once users have completed the necessary product training, and have been formally accredited by our partner SOFOT.
This is a structured three-day course, and the cost is per attendee.
Courses will commence in August 2020.
*The first 25 registrations will be available at a discounted USD $1200
**Minimum class size required
On completion a formal Certificate of Competence will be issued for each successful student, and will be valid for three years. After three years a low-cost refresher course is required to extend the certificate (and product support) for a further three years.
In the first instance you will be required to fill out the attached contact form, which will be submitted direct to SOFOT. Specific arrangements can then be confirmed between you and the training team at SOFOT. Costs will be invoiced direct from SOFOT.
Q: How long does the training take?
A: The training is designed to take no more than three working days to complete, and access to the training will be available for three weeks
Q: Can I register an interest in the ‘live’ tutor or face-to-face training?
A: Yes, please state your preference in the contact form and SOFOT will discuss the specific details and availability of these versions of the course directly with you
Q: What’s the difference between the planned online ‘live’ and face-to-face tuition?
A: Both versions of this training will involve a tutor taking you through the course in minute detail – either ‘live’ online (via an interactive platform), or in person
Q: What is the difference between online, live and classroom training?
A: The content of all three types of classes is the same - however the live tuition and face-to-face classes have the advantage of you being able to ask questions and get immediate feedback. These classes also deliver another important advantage – they allow you to interact ‘live’ with your peers and share real-life experiences
Q: Is there a minimum class size required?
A: The recorded online courses do not have a ‘minimum class size’ attendee requirement. The face-to-face classroom option does – please enquire for further details
Q: What language is the training available in?
A: The training courses are currently available in English only
